HKL Helsinki City Public Transport

HKL runs the public transportation in Helsinki. Public transportation includes numerous buslines, almost ten tramlines and a subway, shaped a letter Y.

Timetables etc. can be found online at www.hkl.fi. More information is available at the customer service offices by the subway station under the main railwaystation as well as at Itäkeskus.

Note, that the tram line 3T (and 3B) also serves as a sightseeing tour as its route passes most of Helsinki's must- to- see- sights. The fee is the same as for any other public transport in town, so if you have time, take the tram.
